Indiscriminate killing is wrong. She does not know whether they are bees or wasps. Do not indiscriminately kill things. Either way they are pollinators and are valuable and necessary in the grand scheme. If they are causing a problem and are honeybees, they can be relocated into a hive. If they are wasps and are causing a problem them they may be destroyed.
That is our problem. I dont mind honeybees at all, and wasps can be anywhere they want...however we have taken down a TON of wasp nests this year because they always are in the buildings we go in so the chance of getting stung is high. As long as the wasps stay away from where I frequent I leave them alone. They need a chance to live life too...rattlesnakes? Not so much especially in our yard.

Turkeys do a good job of keeping snakes away.

My Turkey does a good job of keeping everything away. He chases the dogs...he chases the cats...I about flipped out a few days away when I saw he was chasing a six month old CALF (or however old the calf was...definitely a LOT bigger than him).

Deal with it every year. What about it?
I like it I wish for it every August/September all my young get it and after they are immune for life. We even go to the extreme of giving and taking infected birds to other flocks so they get it and get immune to it. It's not if but when down here
Yes we infect them on purpose. You can waste money on vaccines if you want but that's still not a guarantee and imo a sales gimmick
To me it makes for strong blood
For them to get stuff instead of fragile blood from giving meds and immunizations for everything if in doubt look at any of the pics I put up it quite evident they're going in the right direction
None of my pullets this year got fowl pox. That’s odd for me.

You arent too far from me! I cant read maps very well though...
Can't read maps well? OK. Drive to the corner gas station, take a right, then drive to the next gas station. There you may find Dan the oilcan man (KDOGG knows him well) and just ask him for further directions.:gig
