X2, I know 3 people that wear a mask all the time in public....all 3 came down with the virus... so explain that if mask are so good at controlling the spread.

The masks aren't to protect the person wearing the mask. Those 3 people who wore the masks and became infected? Because they wore the masks, they didn't infect who knows how many other people. They were probably infected by someone who wasn't wearing a mask.

My understanding of the mask is that it will prevent you from spreading the virus but doesn't actually protect you from the virus. Of course with all the touching and lowering and raising the mask, it actually makes exposure even more possible.

Agreed, I always see people fiddling with it and it drives me nuts. I don’t wear one unless it’s required to enter.

I had to go to Walmart yesterday and there were a ton of people wearing masks in there but only a handful of them actually had the mask over their mouth and nose most of them had them hanging just over their mouth.
So stupid.
I do not like wearing a mask either it is hot and miserable but you might as well just take the damn thing off if you're not going to wear it properly.
