Nope. It's blowing upwards and being deflected downwards by the lip at the edges of the window.

The ideal fan position is so that it blows across the heating element. This allows the intake for the fan to be slightly cooler.

Totally agreed. BUT, I didn't have longer bolts to lower the fan enough to create space between the fan and the lid to do that. Nor did I have any sort of heat deflector if the heat element were that close to the lexan...What I did have was...Eggs arriving the next day because I panic bought when I thought I killed them all by hitting 110 degrees...
