I don't either. Pisses me off that it chips instantly, and I've never liked the way it looks. Probably cuz I only buy cheap ass polish.

You can use any base you like what matters is the topcoat not to be confused with clear polish which is just that polish itll chip easy then after the topcoat is good and dry follow with a nice polish wax and buff lightly and you have a nice buffed color that resist chipping. Anyway yall have fun
