I free climbed the campus broadcast antenna -to which I had keys to the site (observatory where I taught astronomy labs)- and one spring break took 360 panaramic 35SLR pics and could show the Dallas skyline in a few that spring afternoon.
Survived Carbon monoxide poisoning twice.
Was struck by lightning in the Navy
Was shoved by bullies (I was petrified of) info a huge snowbank in 6th grade(Jr high) Michigan.
So I hope that totally nukes your perception of 'near normal'.
Note, many of those items are apart of fond memories even though they were challenging, hurt or otherwise difficult to get thru.....
