English and Spanish
Sorry got distracted.
I speak English fluently. I used to be fluent in French, but it's been so long that I've forgotten a lot of it. I'm low intermediate level now, I think. My Japanese is also low intermediate level. I understand a bit of Spanish, Korean, Mandarin, and Welsh.

I’m teaching my kids Spanish now. They know the basics: alphabet, numbers, shapes, colors. I wonder if I’ll be good enough to teach them all the extras though. I know them and can read, write and speak Spanish but teaching it is another story that I’ve never tried.

You talk with the people you're with.

I like silence just fine. Super introvert here.
Don’t hide!! I actually am too oddly usually or at least like super shy and don’t talk at all in person at first 😂🤣

But even so, I just like constantly have to be doing something. Maybe it’s the ADD, idk 😂🤣🙈

Even in the car if I am by myself, I have to play music. I cannot drive in silence. I also cannot just sit or stand somewhere with nothing to do or I’ll go crazy 😂🤣

But then in the other hand, too much noise? I freak out and have to go decompress 😂🤣

So I guess I like it on my terms.

Oh wow this is impressive!!!

When you learn a language you definitely have to keep up with it or you do lose it. I never thought it was true until I stopped speaking Spanish for a while. But then I found people I could talk to in Spanish and it got my mind running again.

Now I’m back to not having someone to speak Spanish to constantly but I try to read to my kids from time to time. They know when I’m speaking Spanish vs English and they’re not even 4 yet.

I think they should pick a lot of up through absorption if you talk to/around them in it and/or immerse them in it? Might be easier that way.

True. Maybe I’ll go back to making them watch Disney movies duped in Spanish.

I am getting sleepy 😴
If I disappear it’s because I fell asleep
Good idea!!! Make it fun!! I think it’s much easier to learn naturally like that. :)

You pick up a lot of it without even realizing it.

And yeah same 😂🤣😂
