I think I'm done with chicks today.
Got 12 out of 14 brooder boxes clean and it's 90°+ here.
Peeked in hatcher windows and only spotted 4 or 5 and there should be a lot more then that. Not gonna mess with them till tomorrow.

Adorable. Back when I was fostering up to 3 puppies at once, I found the easiest way was to pen them in a corner of the kitchen (linoleum floor) and mop it with sanitizer once per day.
I cannot imagine trying to keep those little buggers tidy if they were allowed on carpet.

Oh, and sorry about the blurry photo -- setting the delay and trying to get a good picture is a pain.

I can't bring myself to spend the money on a playpen.
I know, stupidest excuse in the world considering the time and effort we are putting into keeping our carpet from becoming a cesspool.
