I'm good, but every time that ice cream truck drives near, it plays "You are my sunshine, my only sunshine" Makes me miss my hen who died last month. She was special to me

Her name was Sunshine, and on happier days, when I heard that song, I would hold her and sing along to the tune. (Just for her) She's the only animal I have ever told my life secrets to!
She never judged me or complained. Only gave me huge eggs, and a lot of love. She died in my arms. RIP My Sunshine.

Two. One was too expensive for surgery, the other had a ruptured abdomen and was too far gone.
Euthanized a horse with an antibiotic resistant foot, a sheep that suddenly went hemolytic, a goat who went into cardiac arrest.. can't remember the rest.

That's a rough day. Hug him for us.

Loved Perth! Although the trip to Rottnest island was my favorite. Gorgeous beaches and the little quokkas were too cute


Meeting is the for the International Council of Archaeozoologists. All the coolest ancient critter specialists will be there Solely for the awesome meetings of course, and not just because it is in Cairns this time.
