Killer Coon HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In the last two weeks I've lost a rooster to a coon. My two ducks to a weasel and last night my six chicks were eaten by something that chewed a hole through their house to get too them. We've had the coon crawling all over our coop and they are chewing their way in. Does anyone have any ideas before I loose any more ? Tonight I'm putting my chickens in a dog carrier to protect them.

Trap and dispose. Then trap again and again. They are fixated on your birds and will have to be dealt with. Then consider electric fencing/netting.

Sounds like your using chicken wire. Gotta have a safe coop. You can get a live trap & trap the predator then one bullet in the head works. Then take the carcass aways from your coop to dispose of it. I suggest half inch hardware cloth to secure the coop.
