Yeah, you put bunny on the ground with front legs bent back towards his bum. Put the broom across his neck, stand on the broom stick with you facing his back feet, reach down grab both back legs, jerk up and towards your body hard and fast. You want to be quick about it and make sure to get it done on the first pull. You don't wanna hear a rabbit scream.

One other method I've heard of, but not sure if I'd even try it, is hold the rabbit by the neck out in front of you in your left hand, with his nose facing towards your right hand if you held your right hand straight out. In your right hand, get a 1x4 piece of wood (hardwood preferably) and smack the bunny right in the nose (kind of like you're smaching a pair of symbols together but the left hand stays stationary). This method is supposed to break the nose sending bones in to the brain causing massive immediate bleeding.

I like the .22 pistol to the head method better, I feel it's more immediate and harder to "do it wrong". Put bunny on a tree stump in the same body position as the broom stick method. Put the pistol on the top bunnies head facing down to the tree stump and pull the trigger. (make sure your hands are out of the way)​

Thanks so much for mentioning the broom method. I think that will be the way for me to go to get rid of the giant EE rooster that came with my pullets.
