I am afraid that bullying will recur in my small flock if I don't find something else to keep them busy. All the grass in the run has been devoured (of course) and they spend a lot of time looking through the fence at the lush lawn. I don't have enough room in the yard for a tractor. I have researched growing fodder and am going to try it out. What else can I do for my hens? I do not want them resorting to boredom pecking.

Try hanging a whole cauliflower from the roof to give them something else to peck. I leave a little meat on the lamb bone after we have Sunday roast, that keeps them busy for hours. Hilarious to watch them chasing each other around for any little tid-bit.
