Hey, sometimes I don't want to be part of ME, but it is what it is - and it's all that I have to work with. Mind, body, and soul are managing to stick together.

Uh oh. I think sent out too much mojo. My hens have really slowed down the last few days.Today I only got 8 eggs.

Hi, Harli!

How many hens are we talking about here? And what breed? I've had young Barred Rock hens that laid an egg practically every day, no matter what time of the year it was. I had a Leghorn once that laid 3 eggs every 2 days during the warm months, and slowed down to one egg per day during the winter. The hens I'm still waiting to get eggs from now are Seramas, and I'll be lucky to get an egg every 2-3 days from them (tiny birds!)

I have 8 month olds so there still learning but I have 2 out of 4 ee's laying 1BO 1 BR 1SLW 1BSl 1RSL and 1WL. usually I get any where from 3-5 eggs a day. there slackin!

Yaaaay!!!! I got 11 eggs today.

I kept six for my bators. I also let a broody have five, and she's a happy girl now!
