Harli, if this is the 3rd year for your band i the festival, it sounds like a really solid music program. I'll bet you guys are working your tails off. I've always thought the flute was a "cool" instrument. I played in the school band, too, when the world and I were young. I was in the plumbing section -French horn.

i played the french horn for a year-hated it
on a better note yah our band teacher is great she playes the clarenet in lots of pro bands and orchs. and is a great teacher.....and sour get some sleep and we need to stop GLO!!!!!!!!

I always felt sorry for French horn players. That thing is hard to play! Also they're made fun of when they start learning it, they sometimes get called stench horn players.

Good for you Bunny! Our school took sweepstakes, all three disciplines( marching, concert, and sight reading), 23 years straight. We had a tough band director, but he was excellent! He would spend time with each member twice a week. I miss old Harry Jo.
