Kind of Emergency........How do I Get My Ducks Out from Under my Deck?

My darn ducks will NOT come out from under my deck!! Little brats! I really don't want to leave them under there...but they will not come out! They don't care at all if I jump on the deck above them...pour water down above them....poke at them with zip ties.........lol Help me!!!!!

Initially, my ducks do not like being sprayed with the hose. I would give that a try.

judging by the time you posted, the are going to bed.. all the feed in the world will not coax them out tonight.. tie your dog close to the deck to help keep predators away and wait until morning..

then enclose the deck so this can't happen again..

I tried spraying them with the hose and they just move from one spot to another under the deck...

Yeah...they're trying to go to bed....I waited a little too long to put them away and suddenly realized it was dark out.... They just discovered the deck today.... They will be going into a pen...its just not built yet. I don't want to leave the dog out with them b/c he's just a little too interested in the birds..........and he kept getting himself tangled around the posts while I was out there trying to get them out....so I think he'd just end up really really tangled by morning if I left him out.....lol He may have just been doing that though b/c he knew I was agitated... **shrug**

yep - we all want to know... did they come out?

we found out the hard way that we need to put the geese in early or they head down to the pond.. we try to herd everyone in just before dusk.
