so we recently got a rooster form someone, He is great.. but when we pick him up to hold him and then let him go he does this weird scary almost like a growl... now one of my 4 hens is doing the same sound, and today my hen was chasing the other girls around and started ripping feathers out of them.. I'm almost positive she is a hen.. she is a little bit bigger than the others but her comb and ( those red flaps of skin that hang by their mouths) Forgot what they are called ... anyways hers are the same size of the other hens... any idea what is causing her to do this??
