Hi All, This winter we purchased some different breeds of chickens from the same person, One of the Groups of birds was 2- 5 month old aracana pullets and a 5 month old Beautiful blue aracana rooster. All were very friendly and great pure breed birds then one pullet became sluggish for about a week then we found her dead in the corner of the coop..... Being green horns at poultry we just thought our larger roosters were a little too rough, But now a month later we have noticed our little rooster has bubbles on his one eye ?? after reading other folks threads it seems we have coryza ?? we also bought 2 Buckeye pullets and a buckeye rooster off of the same person and one of those hens has kinda crusty eyes ?? No smells ? But its been winter here... What should we do ? we like to eat and sell the eggs, But can we still do so ? and is this contagious to humans ? HELP Please.
