(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Kinda, I've been raising chickens with my family for 2(ish) years now

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?

About 15 with 2 roosters.

(3) What breeds do you have?

Not sure. Brown and white ones. Some of them are egg farm rescues.

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?

Never having to buy eggs! :D It's also nice having someone looking forward to your arrival. That part was surprising.

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?

Digital art, both 3D and 2D

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.

I'm also raising geese, ducks, and a turkey, and have two cats. I'm a university student right now.

(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?

Google search constantly gave me topics from this forum for various problems for the past 2(ish) years. I've decided to join because I don't quite find the answers for my goose problem.

Wasn't it a great surprise that chickens are happy to see you return (It's probably partly because they like you and partly because they know you are a giant food vending machine)?

Sounds like you have your hands full with university and all those critters. Hope you get your goose problem solved.

Welcome to BYC, where lots of us -- me included -- have ducks, geese and chickens, as well as house pets galore. This is a great place to learn and share!

Even if they just see a giant foodman, it still feels good. Especially when we prepare food in front of them, they always look so inquisitive. A nice change of pace, that's for sure.:)

Just posted my problem in the goose section, any help would be greatly appreciated.
