Well I did things a little backwards, I joined, posted new topics and didn't introduce myself. So, here goes. I am in NE Ohio and my wonderful, loving, patient helpful hubby and I have started my dream - a mini-farm. Hope to buy land and become a fully sustainable farm one day. We have three boys - and they are great. Two of my boys are special needs, my oldest is a cancer survivor. Life dealt us many hard blows and I guess that's why I so desire a farm. I need some out of the noise of the city therapy. The country has always been where I feel at home. But for now we need to be close to my son's doctors. I got my flock on Mother's Day of this year. I love this, I am truly chicken addicted. I can't get enough. I love this forum, I love my girls and one rooster and I am lovin' life. We are so blessed to have our son with us that I want to give him every experience with animals I can, he loves animals. We are going to raise rabbits for meat as well. I have a deep interest in rare and critically endangered species. I have 7 red sex link ( I think) and some Chanteclers on the way Aug. 7th. I aslo am getting some Buckeyes soon. I am loving my life. God's been good to me and I hope to get to know some of you well, maybe soon I can help other new chicken owners as well. So I am now another official BYC adddict and have been bitten by the chicken bug.
Hello, and welcome...
I'm a bit new here and didn't introduce myself either.. I didn't really see the reason to. I love helping people, and some have even come to me for advice. If anyone needs my help, including you, go ahead and PM me.
And welcome...yet again, glad to have you
