Kinda new member

[Obsessed With Silkies]

Hi and welcome to BYC! I got chickens last year in early spring for eggs but I've been slowly adding chickens to the flock this entire year. I have 8 silkies, 1 Cuckoo Maran, 1 Orpington, 4 Orpington/Rhode Island Red crosses, 1 Isa Brown, 3 Gold Sex Links, 2 Black Sex Links, and 2 Silver Laced Wyandottes.

Hello hello! Welcome to BYC! I'm one of the quail herders on the forum, as the city doesn't allow chickens **Pouts**. I have two hens right now, after getting them from someone in December 2021. I got them for their eggs. Nothing like fresh eggs for brekkie! Might get into meat in the future.

I started with off with 2 bantoms and one chicken 4 years ago this year. It was always a dream of mine too have chickens but I was still clueless and I wasn't even online.
Thank goodness when i finally switched onto the internet within weeks I came across BYC and I have never looked back.
