Hello!
My name is Sarah and my husband has actually been on here for a bit, so I feel like I kind of know a little about BYC. Before I get too far, I am searching for Turkens for hubby's b-day/father's day. I am hoping for hatching eggs, we bought Turken X Frizzled Ameraucana eggs and the Turkens that resulted are bright yellow, fluffy and no way near naked necked. Long story short, hubby is kinda bummed so I'm hoping to find someone in Utah to sell us some eggs or chicks
We are fairly new to chickens, we inherited a Grey rooster and hen and a Red rooster and hen from my great grandpa in 2013 after he passed away. I'll be honest, of all the birds we have, I probably know the least about these guys, but was pretty upset when the Grey's both passed away not long after getting them (I miss Gandalf the Grey!). We currently have 23 chickens, 4 full grown and 19 chicks. Our adults are the Red rooster and hen (Sriracha and Rosie) and 2 brown Silkie roosters (Chester and Draco). Our 1st hatch = 1 Grey (Puff Ball), 2 Buff Orpingtons, 1 RIR, and 1 Ameraucana (Oliver). Our 2nd hatch = 3 Cream Legbars, 4 Ameraucanas, and 2 supposed-to-be Turkens all crossed with a frizzled Ameraucana rooster (only the Ameraucanas and 1 "Turken" appear to be frizzled). My hubby bought 2 Cuckoo Marans, 2 Barred Rocks, and 1 Polish (Humphrey/Beatrice, he got this guy for me for my b-day and I love him!).
I play momma to a handsome baby boy who just turned 1-year-old and I am going to college to become a registered dietitian. When I get free time (yeah, right) I like to hike, read, sew, sing Broadway musical numbers to myself/baby; really I do just about anything. Hubby was born to be a farmer, so he heads up most of the gardening and chicken-ing (?) operations, but I love helping out with both (especially the chickens). That's pretty much me, but seriously if anyone has info on Turken eggs/chicks I could buy (either shipped or in Utah) please let me know!

Chester the brown Silkie, he's my chicken BFF

1st & 2nd set of chicks together

You can't see them all, but this is the 1st set of chicks + cuckoo marans
Most of the 2nd set, the two yellow guys in front are supposed to be Turkens...
2nd set + barred rocks and Humphrey the Polish
Is he not the cutest?!
