Inside the palace in the Kingdom of K'val, Eliza was in her quarters getting ready for an up coming meeting with Tariel. He wanted to meet her in the council room in one hour. It had been twenty minutes since he arrived.

Finally after what seemed a lot time the waitress returned with two dishes in her hands. She approached the table and lied down the plates in front of Winter and Solviss, respectfully. "There you go, my dears," she happily said. "Enjoy." Then she left the table and disappeared around the corner by the bar.
