Winter sighed and walked off towards where she stayed. She didn't live in a house or even a shack she slept outside between two buildings on a dirty small pallet.

As they walked Tom started to feel an urge down his spine. Quickly, he turned around and shouted at Milo. "Why are you following us?"

"Because I need a rodent too." He replied.

The cold night went on as she lied on a wet pallet. The very soaked wood was staggering to feel on her skin. Throughout the night, it caused her to toss and turn. Hours later, a man wandered close by--he looked like a beggar. Slowly he crept towards the sleeping woman and then tapped her shoulder. He quietly said, "Hey."

"Oh, I see," Tom said. He turned back around, feeling ashamed.
