All the rooms down the hallway were wide open.

Sean was shocked by her sudden move and he rolled over to get her off. Out of breath, he deified to stay in the same spot for a bit. But because the rapids were carrying him downstream, Sean got out.

Not expecting all the rooms to be open, she went up to the first room and looked inside.

She got off his back when he rolled over and followed him out of the river. "Sorry," she muttered, biting her lip nervously.

It was the same room she slept in before and it was empty.

Sean lied on the bank and glanced over at her. "It's okay."

 

[Draxion]

"What do you mean?" she asked, curiously.

"I don't know any hybrid elves." Abreanna said.

Martha tilted her head down. "Neither do I," she explained.

 

[Wintent]

"What would you like, Winter?" the leader asked.

Winter shrugged. "Not s-sure. "

 

[Draxion]

"What would you like, Winter?" the leader asked.

Winter shrugged. "Not s-sure. "

"Pork?" he asked.

Martha tilted her head down. "Neither do I," she explained.

"My family's dead." Abreanna said.

"Pork?" he asked.

"Sure," Winter said smiling softly.

"As are mine."

"Who killed them?" Abreanna asked.

 

[Draxion]

"Pork?" he asked.

"Sure," Winter said smiling softly.

The leader nodded, smiled, and then waved to his servants, signaling them to bring out food for Solviss and Winter since everyone else already and their drink and meals.

 

[Draxion]

"As are mine."

"Who killed them?" Abreanna asked.

She quietly glanced up and said, "I don't want to talk about it."
