The rain stopped sometime during the night and the two slept soundly. Early the next morning, it was sunny and bits a sun rays slipped through cracks in the shack rooftop. Thoriac woke up and Winter was still asleep. He crept to her and shook her. "Hey, wake up," he quietly said.
"It's no trouble," he responded. "Hiding your identity is important here in the capital city. People will frown upon you if you're those races."
"It's okay!" he quickly shouted. "It's me, Thoriac." Her shriek made him jump back a few feet.
"Bad dream?"
"Oh," he slowly responded. "Of what?"
