As the two flew closer to the flock, Two very large ones--same appearance as Alton--quickly flapped in front of three younger ones after they noticed Alton. The younger ones looked like the two larger except one was yellow scaled. Alton knew want had happened and immediately stopped. Because he flew so fast it took quite some gliding to come to a complete stop.

Storm started to slow down and came to a steady pace and stopped beside Alton, wondering what made him stop.

Alton felt Storm beside him. He turned his head to her and said, "My parents are being defensive. I don't want them to cause any trouble. Stay here while I go talk to them." Alton then glided to his family.

"There's n-not much to t-talk about really. I t-travel quite a b-bit. N-no love life, no f-family," Winter said.

The five dragons all looked identical to Alton. Some had a few different patterns. The largest one looked down and his eyes were fixed on Storm. "My name is Gulryn," he said in a very low and snarling voice. He pointed to the second largest one. "This is my mate, Lirdin, and my three children: Alton, Gaeo, and Neerea." He pointed to each one while calling their names respectfully. Clearly, Neerea was the youngest based on her size.
