Solviss started to interrogate the assassin by asking him random questions as the bartender stared on.

Solviss stopped and quickly looked at one of the windows, because he thought he saw something. After looking for a few minutes, he turned his head to Winter. "Did you see that?" he asked.

Winter shook her head. "No," she said her hand slipping to the dagger at the slightest hint of any type danger.

Solviss turned his attention back on the assassin again. "One of your friends?" he asked, rudely.
He shook his head and slowly replied, "I work alone."

While Solviss was busy with the assassin, the bartender glanced at Winter and noticed her behavior. "Where are you going?" he asked, silently. He had a curious look.

"Going t-to see what S-Solviss saw," she said in a hushed tone before slipping out the door keeping the dagger concealed but in hand.

Suddenly, something caught his eye from inside the inn. He quickly glanced over and quietly said, "Look--it looks like the prince is talking to the bounded man."

Venus turned to look through the window of the inn and sure enough the prince looked like he was speaking to the man. Her sensitive ears picked up a few words through the thick walls of the tavern though they were muffled and she could hardly understand them.
