Winter chuckled lightly. "G-gee I thought it w-was another a-assassin, but then a-again I didnt see t-them," She said shrugging.

"I think those kids are by the backdoor--I can hear them."

The door didn't open and the two remained by it.
"Are you scared?" the boy asked.

"Why would I be scared of an innkeeper and some princess?" She said, meaning the finely dressed woman and the bartender standing at the door. Venus leaned against the wall of the tavern, waiting to see if they would open the door.

 

[Draxion]

"I think those kids are by the backdoor--I can hear them."

She wetted her lips "I'm always defensive" she said quietly.

"Very well," the bartender said. "No use keeping you here." Next, he approached the door, unlocked it, and opened it very slowly just far enough for Winter to squeeze through.

 

[Draxion]

"Because you seem defensive now."

She wetted her lips "I'm always defensive" she said quietly.

Before the boy said something, the door suddenly opened and was recognizable by the high squeaking sound.

 

[Wintent]

"Very well," the bartender said. "No use keeping you here." Next, he approached the door, unlocked it, and opened it very slowly just far enough for Winter to squeeze through.

Winter slipped through the crack shoving at the closest people blocking her way out.
