The wooden stairs creaked with every step. William enjoyed the low squeaks and he started to jump up and down on one stair.

She glanced back at William, wondering what he is doing.

William continued to cause more noise, ignoring anything else.

As she reached the campfire, it was nearly burned out. Solviss and Tithae were dangerously close.

Winter sat down close to the fire but not as near as they where.

As the fire slowly died off, Tithae scooted closer to take in as much heat as possible. Unfortunately, he got too close and his torn clothing caught fire. He immediately panicked and ran around the area screaming.
"Holy!" Solviss yelled as he tried to douse the flames by hitting him. Not surprisingly, it had little effect.

After that remark, Aedan felt bad and tilted his head down. "I didn't sink to far in, did I?"
