Startled, he quickly looked over and replied, "Oh, uh... " Solviss paused because he couldn't say he was the prince of their rivaling kingdom, he agreed to keep his identity a secret while in K'val. So, he decided to lie, "I'm just a scholar from the Arobus Mountains. I've come to study your culture."
The leader took his words without suspicion of bluffing. "It's very nice to have you among us then."
Solviss returned her thanks with a wink and then sat back down.
