Nope. No idea where he lives. I don't see a collar on him either.

He doesn't come every day - just once every while - but it does really put me off when he comes. My mom says not to discourage him from coming because we have mice.

a great reason to have one around as I said we have three outside but also 5 inside

no collar is smart on cat can get hung up if it is not a break away it can mean death

Hmmm...maybe think of something that scares him away from the chickens but wont stop him from coming back. Maybe put something on their coop/living space that the cat doesn't like? Just an idea and I'm a dog person so I don't know much about cats.

Whenever I see the cat I chase him away. Not sure what cats hate either.

good question hot wire is electric fence buy it at any farm store they can also tell you how to install it best to run two lines about 6 inches apart starting at just high enough to be above grasses or weeds

Chickens will eat mice = protein
Had 5 Wyandottes in an enclosure that they had come & go previledges. Well one day we heard a commotion, went to check and found they cornered a rat, not mouse but a rat! They had it cornered but it had climbed the wire trying to get away from them. I got them out & Hubby got the BB Gun although told him a shovel would be better. After putting several holes in the shade cloth, I got the shovel & took care of it. Did not want them eating it since I had thrown poison in the vacant lot in the back.
