Kitty, one of our EEs, is our favorite chicken. She fractured her leg in October, so she lived in a dog crate in the house for four weeks while she recovered, so we got to know her very well. She is a very sweet girl, so we couldn't resist letting her sit when she became broody. She sat on four eggs- two haven't hatched and probably aren't going to, another began hatching and was stepped on by another chicken and was squashed
so this little one is her lone baby. It hatched yesterday. It's so tiny and fuzzy. I hope she makes a good mama!
