kiwi as treats

Has anyone given kiwis to thier chickens, is it ok to give them?

Geez, I don't know.

I know you aren't supposed to feed citrus and technically Kiwi isn't citrus. If it were me, I'd err on the side of caution and not feed it. Anybody else?

We usually toss our parrot's leftovers to our girls, and they just totally bypass the Kiwi fruit..."ewww", they said, with up turned beak! They aren't real crazy about sweet potato either, but it does eventually get eaten, if that's all that's left, but NOT the Kiwi....maybe just our girls are a bit picky?
