Know anything about Houdan hens ?

Hi and thanks for reading this,
I am considering adding a Houdan hen to my flock. Truth be told I have seen so many contradictory comments on Google that I need some expert advice.
No idea why I didn’t post on here in the first place.
I am mostly concerned about their eyes and top knot. Have any of you had problems, or not, with Houdans and their general health ?
My flock is gentle and calm and they have an emmense chooky fun fair to play hide and seek and make dens all day every day in perfect (or as perfect as is humanly possible) safety.
Any Houdan hen advice would be greatly appreciated to help me make my decision.
