I have sexy hens. Every year I have at least one rooster show up uninvited.
I know a lot of people have sexy hens. How do you deal with amorous, uninvited roos? My dogs have voted for eating him.

I don't have that problem, so I can't say. I have my own roosters, & love them. He looks like some sort of egger, or a Barnyard Mix.

Thank you! I have four week old Whiting True Blues. One is supposed to be a rooster. I’m looking forward to him growing up. I had one before & he was the sweetest guy.
This stray seems nice enough, but I don’t want any birds around my small flock that I don’t know.

Maybe try locating his owner. If there's no owner he may have been dumped. If he's nobody's, then cull.

Where I live is kind of in the country. There are more houses than when we moved here, but it’s not unusual for people to have chickens & guineas running around loose. I actually heard this guy crowing from a distance two weeks ago. He made his way here and I was hoping he would keep going down the road. Nope, it’s the sexy hens curse :)
Looks like the dogs are going to enjoy eating him.
