Kudzu?

If you want to try feeding it to your birds, I would go to an established patch and harvest LEAVES ONLY! and don't leave it laying around in a heap.
Kudzu flowers have a smell almost like jasmine and would probably make a wonderful perfume.
 
I've also read that cattle can graze it. I know why they want to erradicate it but I don't know why they don't do more to utilize it. Maybe because there are so few cattle operations in the area?
I think someone should be looking into using the stuff.

If pigs, cattle, horses and goats get nutrition from it, I see no reason that poultry can't benefit from it in controlled amounts as well.
