LA passes law limiting roosters

You wouldn't believe the number of people I work with that believe it is the whole State of CA. I have been educating them all day.

So what happens if someone orders st. run chicks, or, hatches out chicks?

How long does someone have, to get rid of all extra young roosters, before getting into any legal trouble?

What about all of the sex-linked chicks that are roos? How long does someone have, to get rid of those?

Really - this stuff stinks!

I understand for people who don't want roosters, but for people trying to keep critical breeds going, or, even trying to perfect the breed(s) they have..........this is restricting people to just one breed! Isn't it ?

Total shame !

Everytime I see the title to the thread...I keep thinking LA as in Louisiana LOL
