We also used itraconizole. I know you don't have an avian vet, but maybe you could get a farm vet to or another vet to prescribe it? When another duck of mine started making the same noise we started her on oral antifungals right away and she got better within weeks.
Sadly no Itraconazole.Might be able to find the meds on allbirdproducts too.
