What would I need to mate him with to get more laced babies? Another silver birchen? I have a silver birchen EE hen, but she's a little bigger than him. (Not that he probably couldn't do the job...

)

I would cross him with another silver birchen female. The offspring should be a size in between the male and the female. Then back cross the female offspring to the male . When you back cross to the male, you should get offspring close to the size of the male.

I got him as a giveaway at Chickestock. Cynthia brought some birds to give away to a good home, and when I saw him, I had to bring him back with me. Nevermind I knew my husband would scream if he saw me carry one out of the car and that I had no idea what I would use him for. He was practically silent for the whole 4 hr. car trip home. He came in a box with a lid, so my husband isn't even aware of how he got here.
