Lacking calcium?

I thought you’d like to see what happens when the chickens are lacking something in their diet. I use oyster enhancing feed as well as throw in crunched egg shells and crushed egg shells. They have a run and eat weeds as well as table scraps, any ideas?

That is an interesting defect. It looks like she may have had issues with the membrane possibly an internal break higher in the ovi tract and the egg didn't move down the track correctly. So part the white was not fully involved in the shelling process. Is the shell its self hard? The shell looks to be ok in the pictures, I don't think that particular defect is related to the shell

The shell was soft and I’ve had others.
