They are gals, you would notice larger reddish combs , a more upright stance and pointed saddle feathers. I have two 10 week old BR hens that look just like em!

Ohmygosh! I am thrilled at the responses. Obviously, I know there's still a chance of cockerels (until I see eggs, I'm not fully convinced), but you all have given me hope!

At ten weeks, they would have male-specific feathering coming in. They're going to be breakfast makers

Do you have a Dominique or cuckoo maran rooster? The two black and white pullets look more like doms or FCM though it could be that they are a mix.

I now know where my luck went! You nabbed it! When I only get 3 chicks and hoping for pullets, I end up with ALL boys!

The rooster is in the middle; mom is the Blue Andalusian on the far right. He is our friend's rooster that just showed up at their place one day, so we don't know what he is
