I am new to this our little farm in my back yard has cucumber, jalapeños and starting to get watermelons and other veggies.

We just realized we wanted to add to our family experience and get chickens. I have three but am looking for some more for my friend and an Easter Egger or chicken that lays blue or dark red eggs. We like colors over here.

Willing to listen to any advice or have get togethers in the area.

Does anyone know of someone local who sells or has hens that they no longer need? I am willing to travel to go get some but haven't seen any local, and don't really want to purchase a bunch online.

Thanks for any help or ideas.
