Finally, Kate and Jack were greeted by Grace, who spotted them on her way to her den. "Kate!" She exlaimed in surprise, wrapping her huge paws around her in a bear hug "We thought you were dead!"

"Me? Dead?" Kate laughed "And why would you think such a silly thought?"

Grace smiled fondly, then seen Jack, standing a ways behind Kate. "Jack?" She growled "What are you doing here?"

"Grace, its ok" Kate assured her "He saved me"

Grace snorted angrily and stalked into the trees.

"Watch." Thistles said surprisingly calmly as around 30 dogs came skidding around each corner. She charged into the left group, knocking multiple off of their feet while the others tried to grab her. She caught herself on the cold tile and thrust herself back up, kicking about 5 other dogs in the process. She grabbed 3 dogs by their legs with her talons and threw them clear across the hallway, knocking them unconscious as well. Her clones also jumped in, grabbing each 3 or 4 dogs and throwing them. By now the guard Pacu had caught was dead; its jugular artery had been nicked. The 30 dogs on the right side lunged forward, however Thistles' clones got of the way just in time while Thistles dove down onto Pacu's back to save him from the guards, leaving them skidding across the cold tile while the guards collided with the wall. Thistles stopped the skidding with her back lion paws and got off of Pacu's back to avoid hurting him too much with her weight. "You alright?" She asked.

"I'm...I'm fine" He replied still in shock
 
Grace heard him crashing through the snow and stopped, flaring her nostrils while swinging her huge head around. "Whos there?" She growled.
 
Valhalla had ran for most of the night towards Lake Lakia to tell the rest of the team that Kate had arrived home safely. He found them early in the morning and they were on their way home, though still several miles away.
 
He crouched down prepared to lunge if need be.
 
Grace growled impatiently and stalked over to Lark's hiding place "Did you know that polar bears can smell a seal up to 3 feet under the snow?" She informed him.
 
"I have no issues with you" He replied
