The smaller bird only make Kate step backwards once. She slapped a specially made pair of shackes onto the birds wings and legs, chaining her to the wall like Lark had been.

As she was being chained she bit once more into Kate's Neck. This time holding on to her precious Nerve.
 
Kate snarled and whacked the bird head away with her paw, her limbs spasmed a few times when her beak slipped off the nerve, but it didn't break. "I'm going to kill you like Lark" She hissed.

She also looked over at Lark. She lunged once more at Kate knocking her to the ground. "You will pay for harming him!"
 
The birds shackles snapped tight and Kate simply took a step back "We'll see" She snickered, lowering the bird to a horizontal position and pulling the shackles tight so she couldn't move.
 
"You will pay for this!"
