"Go get the rest off the group and bring them here. I am going to need some help fixing up your mother." he said. Karen nodded and began running towards where the others were. Then she thought to herself "this may be a good time to practice flying a little more." She unfolded her wings from her sides, started flaping, and began to lift off the ground. She gained a little altitude, like 20 feet or so, and continued towards where the others were.

Karen was already on her way back to the place where her mom, the seal, and Jason were with the rest of the group close behind her. Though strangely enough, Rebecka was not with them. She had gone wandering off soon after they had landed at the Arctic.

A fluttering of wings could be heard once more in the cave.
 
Pacu stared at her wondering what she had done since the last time they had met.
 
Suddenly, Mali's entire body convulsed and she doubled over, coughing up blood. Mitaki and Ushai rushed over within two heartbeats. "Mali! I told you that you weren't well!" Mitaki scolded, one paw on her shoulder. She smacked him lightly with her wing, then coughed again, gasping for air.
 
"What....what's wrong?"
 
"Mali's been severely ill, she's gotten a little better, but nod well enough, but she commited herself to finding Vascala, so she came, even though I CLEARLY warned her she couldn't come 'cause she was too sick!" Mitaki explained.
