The dane immediately recognized the guardian's voice. "Pacu!" He yelled. He lunged forward, ready to bite Pacu, however Thistles stopped the guard. She rammed into his chest headfirst, knocking him clear across the room with her weight.
 
"Thanks Thistles" He nodded
 
"No problem." She said as 5 other guards came skidding around the corner from the noise. "What's going on?!"
 
Pacu lunged at the guard nearest to him
 
The guard bit down onto Pacu's arm, however could not penetrate his skin. Thistles' clones were taking care of the other guards while Thistles was going after the great dane. She held a torch to the dog's chin, threatening to burn him if he moved.
 
Pacu pushed the guard away from him
 
The guard was knocked to the ground and began twitching uncontrollably. Thistles threw the great dane across the room, landing it on its head and knocking it unconscious.

Maxine grabbed ahold of him and took him to the surface before he drowned.

Kate turned towards the rest of Cairo's team, but didn't speak. She stood there for a second, then began stalking back towards the water.

The remaining guards cowered away, running out as fast as they could. Thistles smirked as they ran out. "Come on Pacu, let's go up these stairs."
