Flying high above the battlefield was Rachael, grown to her max, searching for her friend Maria. She spotted her swerving back and forth with Galentei close behind her. Rachael folded up her wings and dove as fast as she could right at Maria. Almost breaking the sound barrier, the sound of her dive did not reach the winged fox unill it was too late. Rachael extended her talons and snatched Maria right out of he air. She tried to break free, but the grip of a 25 foot tall, 25 ton, magic falcon is very hard to break.(especialy for a 10 pound winged arctic fox) With Maria still struggling, Rachael brought her back to the Lakian camp. When they finaly got Maria back to the camp, they put her into one of their stronger, magic-proof prison cells where neither Vlad nor Maria knew that the other had been captured. Rocky came up to the cell and drained her energy to the point where she was barely awake. Then he entered the cell and stood over Maria, pinning her to the ground. Then Yugi came into the cell with a mug of some kind of liquid. He came over to her, poured it in her mouth, and forced her to swallow. Then, slowly, the black color began to flush out of her body, but her wings remained on her. "It's working" Yugi said, "she's changing back." A minute later, she was completely white again. Rocky checked her mind to make sure. "It's done," he said, "that rebel Vlad has no grip on her anymore."

Maria stood completely still, hardly breathing, similar to what she looked like when the initial change had taken place. A thick black cloud, similar to smoke only darker, exited her body through her mouth and nose, it was the evil leaving her body. It floating outwards, seeming like it was escaping into the sky. Then, as quick as the black cloud had exited her body, it began floating back towards her. Her breathing sucked it back in and her body went rigid as took control of her body once again. The black streaks grew back into her fur and her round, gentle face turned narrow and sharp once again, along with her eyes which returned to their cold and dark form. Her wings spasmed as black feathers shot into them and her muscles grew firmer and even stronger then they had origionally been.

Once the transformation was complete, the rigidness left her body and she crumpled onto the stone floor. The process of transforming twice in such short time, combined with Rocky draining her energy had left her completely exhausted.

A soldier walked in with Kovi. "Maria, I trust that you are on our side now." He said, standing tall.
