"Guards over here!" Vlad commanded

She shook her head to clear the stars and faced Vlad through the gloom, the dead end preventing her from running any further. Using the smoke to her advantage, she slunk along the wall, again, trying to sneak past him.

"Guards hurry I think it's escaping!"

She crawled past Vlad, passing to close to him that she could have touched his leg.

Lark ran to assist Vlad "I see it sir" Lark yelled

Once she had passed Vlad, she bolted, streaking across the floor like a bullet.

"Then grab it!" Vlad replied

"Yes sir" Lark nodded as he headed toward the intruder
