The seal swam with Cairo, entering another cave only smaller and colder then the other cave. It was wet and dingy and chains hung off the walls, along with the remains of other creatures who had died seasons ago. The only exit was through the dark, freezing cold water which was several hundred feet below the surface of the ice, which meant that anyone trying to escape would simply drown before they had a chance to reach the surface, and even if they made it, they would be trapped under the few metres of ice seperating the sea from the air. She snapped the shackles onto Cairo's front and back paws and snugged up the chains on the walls, preventing him from moving his paws in any direction. She also attached a wire muzzle to his snout, prevent him from opening his mouth to speak or bite. With that done, she backed away and slipped soundlessly back into the water.
