Thistles landed a few yards away from Evander, making sure to keep her distance to avoid a fight if possible. With a quick whirl of her tail 3 identical gryphons flew at her side, practically out of nowhere.

Evander regarded them cooly, his body language tense and guarded.

"Who are you" Thistles asked Evander sternly. It was more of a demand than a question.

"I'm trying to help, but the way that fox is eyeballing me is making me suspicious." Thistles said to Pacu in a much calmer tone.

"Don't mind him" "He just doesn't trust anyone"

"I don't really know about banding together with someone without trust. It broke me up from my last civilization, I'm not making the same mistake again." Thistles replied solemnly.
