Kate let go of Jack and turned her head towards him, her jaws parted in a furious snarl "Scram!"

"Not a chance!" She hissed, trying to pull her leg back again.

"Well I tried" He smirked as he striked her head

Kate fell back in the snow, a small trickle of blood running down her forehead where he had struck her. She struggled back to her feet, muttering inaudible curses at him.

He approached her as he struck again

Kate's head snapped back and she fell back in the snow again, moaning quietly as she struggled to get back up.
